CAN we even remember what "normal" feels like?
When did we begin accepting dysfunction as functional? How did it happen that crimes (even murder) are not punished by a “justice system” that fails to see the need for it?
If you feel like you've been living in a world where bad, unlawful acts are considered good (and rewarded) and good, responsible citizens are treated like criminals, it's because people with serious BPD traits have been running the show.
In an intimate relationship, gaslighting and having goal posts and 'rules' constantly change, makes one feel crazy. It fact, it turns their sense of reality inside-out and upside-down. One tries to adapt to these strange occurrences, but before long this 'new normal' starts taking its toll on the psyche and physical body.
If we stop recognizing what we've always known to be normal, and accommodate what is not (regardless of who’s offended or disapproves), it's the same as living in an insane asylum where our daily reality is permanently distorted, and we’ve surrendered our independent sense of what’s right versus what’s not.
Keep your head screwed on straight and remain a Super-Rational in the face of greed, evil and outright chaos and severe dysfunction. We bright, rational, circumspect people who possess common sense will prevail. Hitler counted on the power of brainwashing masses of German citizens to achieve his extermination aims, and a handful of bored, wealthy Narcissists are intent on making this happen again all over the globe.
REBEL. FIGHT BACK. HANG ONTO YOUR SENSE OF RIGHT AND WRONG. Just because the 'majority' displays idiotic, non-sensical, aberrant views and behaviors, it doesn't mean they're right OR sane! Fight any tendency you might have to feel impotent or succumb to apathy. Remember that cream always rises to the top of a milk bottle.
Do not go along to get along, for this is how entire societies crumble and vanish. We cannot EVER allow this shit to occur again.
