God gives us only what we can handle~ bad OR good.
A lotta people seem prone to feeling “worthless.”
Worthlessness however, is NOT an emotion or feeling! It’s merely a self-judgemental INTERPRETATION one assigns to experiencing feelings of emptiness, sadness, envy, depression, frustration and anger~ to name only a few.
When you’ve grown up with parentals who convinced you that certain feelings are wrong or “bad,” you cannot help but become an adult who wants to excise and banish those sensations from your emotional repertoire!
When these particular feeling states emerge within, you judge yourself harshly for entertaining emotions you believe are “unacceptable” and you should not be experiencing~ thus (in your own mind), you are “worthless.” This is merely a consistently programmed response you learned and adopted as a toddler.
It’s the inner little boy or girl in us that holds this negative view of the Self due to unhealed emotional trauma to our heart when we are infants and little children. Our adult-self intellectually “knows better,” yet this early trauma has remained locked in our body cells, and cannot be purged without highly specialized inner (feeling) work.
Every problem has a solution. It’s just a shame that millions of people resign themselves to “living with” these unresolved/unealed issues, rather than doing the work it takes to RESOLVE them. Most don’t even believe or trust that they CAN be rid of these obstacles, because they’ve existed for them lifelong.
When I’m faced with an especially challenging task or project around my home, I always say (aloud) in the midst of it, where there’s a will, there’s a way! Most people never get truly WELL, because they lack the will to do it. Motivation might arrive when they’re faced with a catastrophic life event~ but by then, it’s sometimes too late to reverse all the damage they’ve grown accustomed to and endured for so long.
I find this to be one of the most tragic realities of life. If we CAN repair ourselves with a little assistance, why resist it so much? We humans push away anything we’re afraid of, and because contentment, joy and substantial success are scary and intimidating feelings to those who have a template from childhood that taught ‘em that something BAD always followed stable, light or good feelings, they choose to stay only with what feels familiar and known to them.
You can pray for love, wild success and fortune all ya want~ but if deep-down, ya can’t emotionally cope with and welcome it once it arrives, you’re not gonna manifest it.
