I’m never inclined to accept a condition I don’t like, without a fight.
I saved myself $86 this morning, wrestling with AT&T (The Highway Robbers) over charges on my October TV and internet bill. They keep charging me for a premium station two months AFTER I changed my service to ‘basic,’ which means no more HBO, Showtime, Stars, etc. (Paramount+ thru Amazon gives me all the shows I love, for only 12 extra bucks a month.)
I tell ya, AT&T can nickel and dime ya to DEATH, and if ya let ‘em get away with it, you’re a chump. I’m fond of holding onto MY money, so ya won’t find me letting anyone steal it from me.
The sad reality is, MOST people are chumps. They don’t check their bills, they don’t wanna make a fuss because confrontation of ANY kind, makes ‘em feel queasy… but not Me, m’dears. I turn into a fire spewing dragon when necessary~ and if anyone has a problem with it, they can take me to small claims court to get what they ‘think’ is owed ‘em (they never do, incidentally).
NOBODY takes advantage of Shari Schreiber, and gets away with it~ and it shouldn’t happen to you, either! Big corporations know you hate confrontation, which is a sign of poor self-worth (this CAN be corrected)!
Sheep mentality, is to go along to get along, but you’ll missed out on a lotta nice things in this lifetime, ‘cause ya don’t feel worthy or deserving of Receiving what you need and want~ much less, ASKING for it!
The little “oh, it doesn’t matter” or “it’s not worth my trouble” incidents are cumulative. Every hard-earned dollar you let accumulate in someone else’s pocket, represents $10 that you’ve flushed down your toilet.
In short, it adds up! TAKE that rotten piece of fruit or the ones that won’t ripen, back to the market for a refund. CELEBRATE every bargain you find, and dollar you save by returning an Amazon or retail store item that’s not RIGHT for you. Don’t just let it sit in your closet for one day in the future, you ‘might’ wanna wear or use it. (My sister has an entire closet full of never-worn clothes that still have sales tags on em, from over 30 years ago.)
Give yourself PRACTICE at taking excellent care of YOU, even when it feels a bit awkward or uncomfortable to do so. All those dollars add up, to you being able to gift yourself a present of something you really WANT, or not. Obsessing about a new watch or pair of earrings? If ya follow my lead, you’ll have no difficulty affording ‘em.
The upshot? You’ll actually start living like The Rich, ‘cause I guarantee you, they didn’t get where THEY are, by wasting even a little of their money!
