Jeff Bezos: A Choice Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea
And giving CREDIT where it's due!
I’m moved to state that Jeff Bezos’ decision NOT to favor one presidential candidate over the other in his paper, The Washington Post demonstrates sound judgement and considerable, responsible, circumspect wisdom.
The truth is, ya can’t please all of the people all the time, and anyone who thinks ya can, is a total fool. The news media has become so dramatically tainted with anchors’ personal OPINIONS, that it has completely ceased being a reliable source for factual information.
I credit people on social media platforms for picking up this ball where major “news” networks dropped it, and running with it! Even Google as a “search engine” is deeply corrupted, due to its self-serving aims. Where’s the average person gonna find any genuine facts or truth these days, to counteract the brainwashing they’re being subjected to by the libelous Left? Talk about Hitlerian techniques!
The GOOD news is, many of us have picked up the slack in reporting the truth, and have become The New Journalists, with considerably more integrity and character than thousands ‘on air’ who seem to have lost (or at least, misplaced) theirs, as “reporters.” More than a few online contributors are highly skilled, and might even be considered, elite.
Objectivity among network newscasters has officially DIED~ and what a tragic end to the “media” era, this has been! Frankly, I find all this unfathomable, aside from my acute familiarity with Borderline Personality Disorder, and the very common traits that attend it: Projection, pathological lying, gaslighting and cheating, as well as a radical lack of impulse control, empathy and boundaries. (If the shoe fits, ya gotta wear it.)
Trump’s niece, “Mary” appears up in arms about Bezos’ publishing choice to remain neutral, and one or two of his high ranking staff have left the paper in a huff due to his decision, but let’s examine for a moment how incredibly immature (and dare I say, INFANTILE ~not to mention, NARCISSISTIC) their retaliatory reactions are, in light of Jeff’s well-considered stance. Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face! It’s always an impulsive, dumb decision, no matter who the fuck you are. I mean, what kind of moron leaves a job, before having another lined up?!
Underneath all the yacking going on pertaining to this topic, my respect for Bezos has grown a bit more. He’s no dummy~ and that’s been acutely demonstrated in his ability to have built an Empire, the likes of which very few can rival. But he’s also shown us he has real wisdom and a sense of fair play~ which for My money, is all I need to know about the guy.
Oh, he’s not perfect~ nor is any human being. And you may have your own personal gripes about this fellow and how he does business. But overall, he’s made My life infinitely easier, more convenient and affordable~ and I suspect that’s true for millions of us.
Bottom line, it takes BALLS to swim against the tide and march to your own drum~ especially when the rest of the world is filled with judgement and hatred for ya. But alas, these are the very same qualities I admire and respect about Donald Trump~ probably because they echo my own basic nature.
So THANK YOU, Mr. Bezos… for resisting the temptation to be small-minded and petty, by jumping on that hard to resist bandwagon that’s headed either toward justice, prosperity and liberty for ALL . . . or straight to Hell.
I commend Jeff Bezos decision to stay away from politics because it's bad for busines and it's too volatile now. Either side you take it will be a problem, especially if you're for Trump. The media and elites would smear Bezos and make up charges to taint him. Great article, Shari.
