To Be or Not To Be~ Identity confusion, and its disastrous impact to future generations of children
Narcissists over-compensate for their sense of insecurity and inadequacy due to deep, unresolved core trauma. From where I sit, anyone who adopts a gender identification that trumpets they are MORE than the sum of their singular essence, is narcissistic and egomaniacal. I'm reminded of the non-binary character on the show, Billions.
Have we EVER been exposed to an actor in a role who's as pompous, self-righteous, controlling and egocentric as Asia Kate Dillon's portrayal of Taylor Mason?? My sense is, these people feel they HAVE no real identity, so their agenda is to try and make "themselves" bigger or grander, than You.
A gal pal of mine many years ago once described me as “larger than life.” I don’t know how she arrived at that perception of me, because I sure didn’t feel that way about myself. I was just Me, trying to get thru life like everybody else. I had gains and setbacks along my life path, and vigilantly worked toward growing and healing, but my Ego didn’t surpass the size of my body, and a healthy dose of humility was mixed in with the more empowered parts of my personality. But people today?
Honestly, it seems like many are trying so hard to be noticed, they’ll try and do literally anything to get attention, and I think it’s a sad commentary on current societal ‘trends.’ They say, everything comes back in fashion. Some of you won’t throw out or donate clothes you’ve not worn in decades, perhaps with the hope this is true.
As much as I adored wearing my hip-hugger, elephant bell-bottom pants back in the late 60’s - early 70’s that grazed the floor over 6” platform shoes, I wouldn’t be caught dead in em today. Why? I’ve grown and changed, and so have my needs and fashion sense.
Today’s young people were confused long before ‘woke’ culture started shoving gender identity in front of their faces, when they were desperately yearning to figure out who the fuck they are. News flash: NOBODY knows who they are until they reach at least the age of thirty, because we’re changing at the speed of light, and it’s impossible to feel settled and resolute about what we believe in without some life experience and maturation under our belt.
I doubt anyone else on this planet of ours SEES gender confusion thru the lens I do, or even considers what it means when someone identifies as PLURAL, rather than as the singular human entity they are~ but then, most folks have totally obliterated their darker nature in favor of being viewed as a "good person." In short, even if they don’t agree with the current narrative, they’ll go along to GET along.
Nobody is all ‘light.’ Humans aren't constructed to be either light OR dark. We all have features of both~ and if you're going thru life wearing electrical tape over your mouth because you're afraid to offend someone, it would seem you're just as confused about WHO you fucking are AND aren't, as the people you applaud for wearing their gender 'identities' like a banner, and needing others to accept, sanction and admire 'em for it.
