What's really in a 'new' psychiatric diagnosis?? It's typically just another narcissistically-driven truckload of psycho-babble, we're expected to believe we need.

Aw, FUCK! The psychotherapeutic community literally salivates when they get to create, name and define a "new" psychiatric diagnosis.

The latest 'Diagnosis du Jour' is "CPTSD." After laughing my ass off, I feel like punching a wall, having just heard about it.

I swear, morons in the psych world get Wet Panties when somebody comes up with what they think is brilliant shit, after snorting cocaine half the night, believing they've landed on a sparkly "new" diagnosis they can parade around and wave like a fucking banner, whenever a Borderline begins treatment.

If ya go online to look up this junkyard diagnosis, you'll see they describe PTSD, but THIS particular variety has a 'C' in front of the letters of regular ol' Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome, which gives it the distinction of (supposedly) being "complex!"

What kinda 'genius' discovered/invented/manufactured this dx, and stayed up jerking off all night, fantasizing about the glory his grandiose Ego would garner from seeing attribution to him IN PRINT for 'gifting the world' this post-nasal, viscous wad of nonsense?! One with NPD, no doubt.

Adding insult to injury, this one piece of drivel I found on the Web posited that BPD is not trauma based (not even having lived thru childhood abuse), but rather, a biological anomaly that may have hereditary factors. (Can ya believe this crapola??)

Everything they describe online about "CPTSD" (which they're mistakenly identifying as a "severe mental illness" incidentally), perfectly describes acute, far-end of the spectrum Borderlines: Volatile, uncontrollable emotions, suicidal ideation, poor self-worth, yada, yada, yada. You've read the accurate stuff on GettinBetter.com, so enough said.

You may be happy to learn though, PTSD is attended by night terrors, recurrent, disruptive memories of traumatic events, AND hallucinations that cause one to relive past, acute traumas. I personally added this last one, because it wasn't listed under the horseshit I read as characteristic of “CPTSD,” yet folks who live with this unfortunate disorder, have experienced it.

I'd love to tell ya how many clients have RELISHED telling me they have "PTSD." Suffice it to say, there's been about a dozen. Allow me to elaborate~ though I hesitate using this term, because exaggeration and elaboration are hallmark traits of BPD . . . !

Quite often, Borderlines manipulate and seduce, by eliciting your sympathy. I'd let 'em share with me their retained "trauma" of course~ then almost immediately, debunk it. I'm not saying these folks didn't carry regret or shame from an event that happened to 'em, but however their situation got remembered and labeled, it hadn't earned a "PTSD" dx.

People with BPD are attention whores. The more sensationalistic the stories they tell you are (at least in their own mind), and the greater your emotional reaction to those tales is, the more confident they feel about being able to win you over. In short, controlling and manipulating your emotions, is what every "relationship" is all about for borderline personality disordered individuals.

But I've digressed. Most of the shit you read on the Web, is just that. No WONDER 80% of the world's population is STUPID. Ya can't even rely on the internet anymore for accurate, intelligent, honest information (and I include today's left-leaning political poopy in this assessment, too)!

Gawd, I can't stand how easy it is to stunt people's development, by spoon-feeding 'em false, misleading information . . . and this my dears, is apparently why MY site materials have risen to popularity among genuinely intelligent humans (my stuff goes sailing over the heads of emotionally incarcerated folks ya find in 'gen pop').

Thank your lucky stars tonight, you're one of the BRIGHT few remaining on this Earth.
