Ya get what ya pay for.
Everyone thinks they can "heal" their own core trauma. I wish it were true. The only way you can get there in MY view, is to work with someone therapeutically, who has been successful at healing their OWN.
Those of us who believe we CAN do this without expert assistance, grew up being able to ONLY depend emotionally on ourselves for comfort, soothing and surviving~ not on anyone else. We don't trust others to supply what we need, and we barely trust ourselves.
Everything else in the world of intervention, is psychotherapy room chatter, insights that may feel intriguing to you but can't budge the needle on your inner agony, and tens of thousands of dollars spent on trying to understand your unrelenting pain rather than eradicating it, while growing a sturdy, vibrant, unshakable sense of Self-worth.
90% of psychotherapists have not resolved their own core trauma issues. They struggle with personality disorder issues, anxiety and panic attacks, eating disorders, addiction, and pathological codependency.
You can ONLY become as healthy and emotionally whole, as the person you're seeing for help. Stands to reason, doesn't it??
