Between the Devil and the deep blue sea: My Samsung "repair" nightmare!
My nightmare with Samsung is as follows: I dropped and broke the screen on my new Samsung Galaxy A13 5G phone, when taking my poor sick doggie to the animal hospital.
I called Samsung, and was given a support ticket to ship it for repair, because the local Samsung approved outlet (U break, I fix) my local Best Buy in Pasadena sent me to, was a closed storefront (after driving around for 30+ minutes to find parking)!
I sent my phone off to Samsung for repair of the screen via UPS. They sent me an email 2 days later, with the cost of repairing my phone. I tried to pay for this repair online, using the link in my email, and couldn't accomplish this task. I called the repair # 3 different times, trying to arrange for payment, and could not get through to anyone on the phone to accomplish this.
I thought, okay, they'll contact me again to pay for repair of my new phone~ but a few days later instead, I received an email saying Samsung is returning my phone to me UN-REPAIRED. I have just wasted an hour of my time on the phone to Samsung, trying to get this need met, and giving 'em hell for putting me thru this experience! I demanded to speak with a manager, and explained this entire fiasco to her.
I now have 3 places to take my phone for repair, 'cause I'm not trusting Samsung's online or "mail in" service again. I'll have to drive a significant distance to any of the three "Samsung approved repair" centers to get this need FINALLY met.
What's happened to Me in attempting to get my phone fixed by Samsung, should NEVER have happened (to ANYONE). I'm trying to turn this horrific experience into a positive, by taking my phone to a Best Buy store quite a distance from me for repair, so that I can utilize part of my Best Buy credit, to replace my Samsung phone screen.
In the midst of mourning the loss of my dog, this shit has placed considerable extra stress on me, but even that aside, this horrific handling of a repair from Samsung is beyond inexcusable! How do these incompetents stay in business?!
