Didja know that a vegetarian diet consisting of a lot of soy products can be really bad for bone density? The Chicago Med series did a bit on this recently.
I've known about this for a long time, 'cause I dated a vegan guy for a while who kept losing his teeth, due to bone loss. He was a compulsive eater and consumed large quantities of what I called, faux foods (made from soy) that were designed to taste like beef, chicken, duck, etc.
His entire mouth had been redone with implants. This bone loss thing can get really serious, when you're older. Also, for men who consume a lot of soy-based products, it makes the body doughy and soft, due to the high estrogen levels in soy~ which also (by the way) causes testosterone levels into diminish.
Fanaticism in any realm is dangerous, but there are millions of people substituting soy protein for animal products, and they have no idea they're killing their bodies with this "health food."

Soy is also disastrous for your thyroid health and metabolism! And nobody should be eating all the fake meats, that I refer to as Frankenstein food, anyways. It’s not food, it’s poison.
