Well, Samba's 12 this month. She knows full well, it's easy to instantly end the chase, if she hops up

on any one of numerous pieces of furniture, including her scratching thingie. :~)

Thanks, Frank. Cleo’s last 5 years with me were her best. She also got to be loved for the first time, and was able to open my heart (miraculously) even more to loving deeply. My two kitties are benefitting from this now (with me for 12 years).

We can never take our animals for granted. Their lives are relatively short, and they help us practice loving deeply, so that we can learn how to do it with another human. :~}
