Having a dissociative disorder means that when you begin to feel bad, sad, angry or scared, you immediately go up into your head to try and source the "reasons" why you're having those feelings. This is extremely common among Borderlines and Narcissists. As children, they were terribly confused about behavioral anomalies they experienced in their home, and wanted to figure out why those events inspired such difficult feelings.
I love Sheri how you are so knowledgeable and where your experiences have led you. It's as though you can see inside my heart and mind. This insight has been so helpful in guiding me back towards what I had previously run FROM, my feelings, and beginning to learn to really FEEL what I had come to fear and pretend didn't exist. Thank you so much.
