I was raised by a loving mother and father, who taught me how be loving and also humble, which humlity is not taught too much these days. I think parents should teach their kids the importance of humility and balancing it with showing loving to their child. Great article, Shari.

We are all lightness and darkness, as I see it. The trick in life in my view, is coming to accept and embrace ALL dimensions of the Self, and being at peace with who we are as multi-faceted (light, dark and everything in-between) beings. :~)

Absolutely! I think as kids some of us pick those dark traits from our parents.
