Yep!!! To all these super givers - go to your local pound and super give to a defenseless abandon animal and take them home. You’ll learn what true giving is about. *unless it’s not fulfilling enough , and return them if your needs aren’t met.
I have MANY TIMES asked my ‘super-giver’ types to volunteer their time at an old-age home, or a children’s cancer ward in their local hospital.
Today’s society has a tragically impaired concept of what empathy really means. They confuse it with sympathy, and they’re two very different qualities.
Right ON! Many are incapable of giving love, whether it’s to a two-legged or four-legged being. I’ve had female clients who desperately want a BABY, yet are incapable of loving and caring for one, due to their lack of empathy.
I always tell ‘em to practice first, with a cat or dog. If they can manage THAT (which is far easier, and will ensure they can get the “unconditional love” they’re seeking) then, and ONLY then, can they be prepared for whatever motherhood will demand of ‘em, in context of being able to genuinely LOVE a child.
I see you’re still laughing (“lol”), when you oughta be crying. It’s lovely to think we’re “healed,” but one man’s zenith is another man’s base of the mountain.
It may be important to remember and give a bit more attention to personal boundaries, on social media platforms.
Hate to break it to ya, hon. Ya can’t do this work on your own. How about you start practicing healthy boundaries, and NOT revealing all your personal stuff in a public way? Lack of boundaries is a BPD trait, ya know.
I didn't know this was out in the open open lol. Can I delete? Edit: nevermind found it. Never been in this type of forum before. Thought it was something different.

I promise you it’s a better deal.

Fear of closeness… BPD trait as well.
